RYA Powerboat 1 & 2
To give students an understanding of powerboating. This course focuses on boat handling & safety and includes elementary chart work.
No previous experience required
The course teaches boat handling including: anchoring, securing to moorings, turning in confined spaces, coming alongside, man overboard techniques, knowledge of equipment, towing, high speed maneuvers, rules of the sea and pilotage and passage planning.
This two day course is £290.00 per person, this will be group tuition or alternatively we also run this course on a one 2 one basis, the cost of this is £550.00.
The price includes all moorings, waterproofs and expert tuition.

Own Boat Tuition
This gives you the opportunity to learn at your own pace so we can lead you through any powerboating skills completely tailored to your needs. You can learn with family, friends or if you prefer, on your own. What is certain is that it can really enhance your ability to enjoy powerboating and do so with confidence. We will support you at all times and make sure that you get the most out of your experience.
Own boat tuition cost £195 per day, plus expenses. Maximum ratio is 1:3.
